Tips not included in all pay types for GL expenses and reports

Tips are included in wages for payroll reporting, but for employers Tips should not be considered part of payroll expenses for labor distribution. We need more reports and the ability to separate out tips for general ledger purposes. Employers with tip employees want to assess job costs based on their wage and tax burden and it is inappropriate to include tips in those numbers. Please help us build more reports that exclude tips for employer purposes and general ledger exports. this is critical to helping support hospitality and other tipped businesses manage labor costs effectively.
